1. Tutoring

1.1. Strive with Felix provides digital/in-person tutoring for requested by you for Australian curriculum, MYP or IB subjects on a scheduled basis

1.2. All tutors at Strive with Felix have completed a certified Australian high school or IB diploma and have been effectively trained to deliver high-quality lessons in a professional manner.

1.3.  Tutors at Strive with Felix may be available for external support outside of regularly scheduled tutoring hours. However, extent to which external support is provided is determined by us. Tutors at Strive with Felix reserve the right to determine when external support is considered excessive and can request a separate lesson to review requested material by students.

1.4. In relation to our 10 lesson Strive with Felix guarantee, refund of lesson fees will only be permitted after a systematic review conducted between tutor and the student's parent(s) mutually determines the student has invested "maximal" effort into their learning over the 10 lessons. What is determined as "maximal" must be mutually agreed on between tutor and parents.

1.5. Tutors at Strive with Felix are instructed to solely give supplementary support to students. You are not permitted under any circumstance to submit any resources or material provided by tutors to the International Baccalaureate Organisation or your school. You are not permitted to request tutors to produce any material on your behalf - this is considered cheating and may result in breach of terms and termination of our service.

1.6. We reserve the right to terminate your enrolment at Strive with Felix if:

  • You refuse to pay the correct amount of lesson fees or cancellation/rescheduling fees due

  • False or misleading information is provided to us

  • You breach these terms

2. Fees and Refunds

2.1. Any inability for the lesson to take place based upon your own insufficient technologies or other relevant materials does not give rise to any refunds or compensation.

2.2. Refunds will only be processed if you have transferred an incorrect amount for lesson fees.

2.3 Lesson fee prices are non-negotiable.

2.4. Lesson fees are subject to change at anytime under our own discretion. You will be informed of any lesson fee changes 1 month in advance. Updated lesson fees will only apply after introduction.

2.5. For students receiving tutoring outside of Australia and pay in foreign currency (not $AUD), $AUD will be used as the base currency for lesson fees and average exchange rate for 6 months prior to fee payment will be used.

2.6. Each new student is entitled to a 1 hour 'free' trial lesson for a subject of their choice. If the student wishes to continue after the trial lesson, the trial lesson shall be charged in full at the corresponding hourly rate. If the student wishes to discontinue, there will be no charge.

3. Attendance and Cancellation

3.1. All cancellations or lesson rescheduling by students or parent/guardians must be explicitly coordinated in written form at least 1 day prior to the scheduled lesson time. If cancellation or rescheduling occurs on the same calendar day as the scheduled lesson, no refund will be processed and a flat $AUD 60 fee will be charged.

3.2. If you are late to a lesson, the tutor reserves the right to not make-up the missed time and/or provide lesson credit/refunds.

3.3. Strive with Felix tutors are permitted to leave the scheduled lesson if students do not show up in the first 15 minutes after the official commencement time. This will be considered a no-show, and the lesson will be charged in full with no lesson credit/refunds.

3.4. Any cancellation fees may be waived on compassionate grounds given sufficient physical evidence is provided by the student or parent/guardian for their absence or delayed notification.
